Supporting Mental Health Research by collecting funds for
Australian Rotary Health.
 

Chances are you know someone with a mental illness and our Club is serious in supporting Mental Health Research. Every $1 collected will help Australian Rotary Health fund vital research into treatment and cures. Australian Rotary Health is one of the largest independent funders of mental health research within Australia and a broad vision to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians.

Rotary Youth Exchange Student Lisa Maria Turkki Rasmussen from Gentofte, Denmark.
 

Rotary Youth Exchange student from Denmark arrived at Adelaide Airport on Monday evening after a long flight.  She was greeted by PDG Marie Dorrington. a member of the Host Club, the Rotary e-Club of Greater South Oz, and her Youth Exchange Counsellor, PP Helen Davies.  Lisa will be hosted in the Quorn community and will attend Quorn Area School.
 
It is exciting that the e-Club has ventured into the YEP world and members are looking forward to meeting Lisa online at a meeting soon.

We were pleased to Organise and Promote the 2016 Rotary Foundation Film Fundraiser, "Eddie The Eagle". This success event was brought together by the skills and resources of a number of club members.
The end result was for raising funds for Rotary's "End Polio Now' campaign.

  E-Club Members Facilitated the first On-Line Rotary Leadership Institute Course co-ordinated by PDG Marie Dorrington.
Attendees were as far from Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Alice Springs and Adelaide.
